Watered With Love
This innovative watering can from ceramicists Jo-Anne and Gerald Warren transforms plant watering from a single gush of water into a gentle spring rain. Instead of a spout, it spreads the water pressure out like a shower head through a number of small holes in its base. Fill the vessel by dipping it into water, keeping the water inside by simply placing your thumb over the top opening. You’ll create a vacuum that holds its contents in place until you’re holding it over your thirsty flowerbed. Release your thumb and watch the water sprinkle onto your plants.

In Mediterranean culture, “dysfunction” can be seen as the anthropological ability to find a way round, an ad hoc solution to make up for a shortcoming.
Here, the bowls gain a new ‘stability’ from an added support or prop which holds them up. It is an instinctive gesture, not designed as the only or definitive solution.

It is a pleasure to introduce our first collaboration with Ánfora, the largest Mexican manufacturer of vitrified ceramics, running since 1920. Together we developed Corazón Coraza (Spanish for Heart Shell), a small jar inspired by the Uruguayan poet Mario Benedetti´s work. Coraza it´s a jar for one or two glasses of water, perfect for sharing in simple moments.
