sprout

image

Sprout is an object that passes on energy. It displays life as a circular system. In a fast paced society, life is often viewed as linear. As with the ecosystems in forests, energy constantly transforms and therefore lives forever. By creating balance between nitrogen and carbon, Sprout will gradually break down and serve as nutrition for a plant. After being in the pot for a year, the plant will have grown too big for the pot and it will be time to relocate Sprout and its plant outside. In the ground it will serve as a vital source of nutrition for years to come.

plantation

Plantation / Alicja Patanowska

The plantation was established because of the need to find a remarkable, almost symbolic use of what has been abandoned. The result is a porcelain object that rests in a common glass and which allows the observation of the growing process of plants, both its stem as well its root.

milo lamp by lightovo

Milo lamp / lightovo

The flower inside the glassy hat, on a pedestal, where we can celebrate its presence and observe how it grows.
The glass closing was designed so that the interior was equipped with good air circulation and you could take the plant out effortlessly and take care of it.
The lamp is made specifically for pot plants that need a lot of light to function and grow.

new manantial

Me Manantial / Martin Azua

Manantial is an invitation to discover and get to know natural processes. It proposes the reproduction of an ecosystem by means of soil, stones and plants able to give back to water its natural balance. It is not an easy task, it takes time and dedication, maybe a whole life.
Like water drops which fall in the interior of a cave purified and enriched by the life cycle of water
Designed by Martín Azúa and made with the collaboration of the ceramist Marc Vidal.
