4th Dimension Watch

image

The 4th Dimension Watch is composed of a thick circular case and cognac leather band. Although a relatively simple design, the watch has a complex balance of materials that includes concrete, stainless steel, bronze, and leather. Taiwanese designers Sean Yu and Yi-Ting Cheng imagined linking time and space into a visual form when they designed the 4th Dimension Watch. The shape is designed to take the shape of a spiral staircase, while the gold-hued hands move up and down. The effect is a careful and sophisticated interplay of shadow and light.

brick lamp mini

image

The original idea of this project is to make people aware of the moment
of concealing and revealing light. To make it a functional lamp, instead of a switch, light is activated when raised(on) or laid flat(off). Also by creating the side facets, a natural
handle is made which also directs the light when the brick
sits on it’s side.

balance 30 degree / Jinsik Kim

This project begins with curiosity about essential characteristic of material. Our design direction is to ultimately reveal the essence of material: the gravity, mass and balance. When these elements harmonized in balance, familiar and ordinary things could inspire us in a new way. B (Balance) lamp series suggests various positions of light to users depending on a space and use.
