For Antonio Aricò, a water carafe includes the essentials of a rounded and comfortable shape with a handle, and is used to offer a nice, fresh glass of water to guests and friends.
Playing on the idea and shape of purity and simplicity, Antonio wanted to create again an emotional object: organic, minimal but strong and full of character. Like a giant ice cube, the body of the carafe is iconic and straightforward.

It is a pleasure to introduce our first collaboration with Ánfora, the largest Mexican manufacturer of vitrified ceramics, running since 1920. Together we developed Corazón Coraza (Spanish for Heart Shell), a small jar inspired by the Uruguayan poet Mario Benedetti´s work. Coraza it´s a jar for one or two glasses of water, perfect for sharing in simple moments.

«This smooth pebble shaped carafe has on its inside a crystal formation reminiscent of those found inside geodes. When pouring, the water contained in the carafe slowly streams through the crystal formation in the same way it would coming out of a cave. The crystals give the water a nature inspired dynamic as it also purifies it on its way to the glass. »
